Form
My journey through the study and practice of Architecture is fueled by my fascination with the built environment. The design of our spaces is an artistic product of qualitative and quantitative thought overlapping. Here, I am sharing artifacts of my experiments with designing our spaces.

The Background
Growing up, my mom and grama were both huge advocates of learning through play. Legos, Knex, and crafts were some of my favorite ways to create and build thanks to them. I began to see anything modular, pliable, or otherwise workable as a potential element of a new, fun world. Up until the summer of 2006, I'd grab any materials I could to build big and little worlds to play in with my friends. That summer, my mom pointed out an architectural model in a showcase and suggested "that is something you might be interested in…Architecture", and from that moment on, I had a new fixation. Ever since, I have had an eye on how the built environment is designed, sketching streetscapes and taking pictures of cool buildings. Starting in High-school, I framed my career goals around Architecture, hoping to learn more about the nuances and philosophies of the profession. Through all the phases after that day in 2006, high school and college matriculation, working and interning, my relationship with Architecture has been deepening. It has helped shape my ways of thinking and doing, especially as an artist. I think at this point, I couldn’t completely describe my artistry without some acknowledgment of how Architecture has directly shaped my tastes and style.
